If you've decided to get a Baby Glock, you're not alone. The company's subcompact models are very popular among concealed carriers. However, the ongoing heated debate is between the Glock 26 vs. Glock 43. Both models have a lot to offer, especially in the secret service and reliability department.

Glock 26 Concealed Carry Holster
Even on paper, the differences between these two subcompact guns are minimal. The main difference is the way cartridges are placed in the magazine.
The G43 has a single magazine. A single stack magazine has its rounds arranged in a single vertical column.
The G26 has a double magazine. The double stack magazine holds its rounds in a back and forth zigzag pattern. The cartridges are placed in two columns. The upper cartridges of each column are sent one by one into the gun chamber. The design makes the magazine (and the pistol holding it) more spacious than a single stack. However, a dual amplifier holds more rounds in a shorter area, putting 1 ½ times more tape in the same vertical space.
The length and height of the G26 and G43 are the same. The G26 is slightly longer, wider and heavier, but not as big. The biggest difference in dimensions is the width. Although a quarter of an inch may not seem like much, it can make a big difference in effective concealment. The slim profile allows the G43 to easily disappear under anything in your wardrobe, especially in a good IWB holster.

Although both pistols are easy to conceal, the slim dimensions of the G43 make it ideal for pocket carry. However, due to the Glock's light draw and lack of external safety, putting it in your pocket without a proper holster is just plain stupid.
The G43's grip is narrower by .24 inches. However, it provides a smaller home to understand due to the extra .08 inches of length. If that doesn't sound like much, you're right.
Considering that the average human pinky is about .3 inches wide, that extra .08 inches of grip height will still allow most pinkies to slide off the bottom of the rubber. Fortunately, there are rose-extended magazines available for both models, but the extra inches you add to these guns hinder their concealability, which is actually their best feature.
Which grip is better? This is really a matter of opinion. There are many articles floating around the internet saying that the narrow frame of a single stack makes control easier for smaller hands. Most of these articles are written by men with big feet. The truth is that shooters with small hands benefit from having something large to hold. Neither the G43 nor the G26 have too much grip for people with small hands to grip. In fact, the slim dimensions of the G43 can be difficult for some shooters (regardless of hand size) to hold firmly and confidently. Single stacks have a tendency to move in the hands of some shooters when shooting, especially when those hands are sweaty.

Small guns are notoriously difficult to control, whether you have sasquatch hands or girly palms and fingers. Putting smaller hands on an already difficult to control gun only adds to the difficulty.
But here's the deal: every shooter is different. The best way to find out if the flu is right for you is to try it. Park this vehicle in the area, not on the floor. Just because a gun "feels good in your hand" in the shop doesn't mean you'll be able to hold it well for multiple shots. Backup can be a huge game changer.
One advantage of the G26 is that it accepts Glock 19 and Glock 17 magazines. This can be a useful advantage in the field. It also means you can carry a G26 as a backup. If your main arm is a G17 or G19, you can share stock magazines with your pistol.
Because the G26 holds four more rounds than the G43, it's also a bit heavier. Those four rounds cause the G26 to tip the scales at just over 26 ounces. That's still only 6 ounces lighter than the fully loaded G43.

However, the extra six ounces can help draw some of the more popular micro pistols. Because of the shorter barrel length, subcompact rifles can require more work to maintain control, especially for inexperienced shooters. And while both Glocks are easy to handle, the extra weight (and extra grip width) gives the G26 a slight advantage in control.
Both are easy to conceal for the average shooter, although if you're looking for a deep concealment pistol, the G43's profile gives it a slight edge.
Glock always settles the debate about which model is the best by offering new models. This debate is no different, and Glock's attempt to resolve it is the G43X.
Essentially a Glock 43 with the capabilities of a Glock 26, the G43X has a slightly wider profile (1.2 inches) and a smaller grip housing, making it similar to a Glock 19 in length, but with a smaller, single-holster installation. This provides a thinner profile than the G26 with the same magazine capacity (10 plus 1).

This means it is just as concealable as the G43 but offers a few extra rounds that can literally save your life in dangerous situations.
The "best" weapon is the one you can shoot the best. However, balancing concealment and shooting ability is a tricky ride. Ultimately, you have to decide for yourself which gun best suits your needs, and the best way to do that is to shoot them.
It's also important that smaller shooters don't fall into the trap of choosing small guns just because they're small. Although the Baby Glocks are very nice, they are not as easy to shoot as their big names, the Glock 19 and Glock 17. And while the mini pistols are very easy to conceal for everyone, you still need a weapon that you can conceal. . to get quick and effective shots when needed.
